			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Clearhead’s recent transatlantic expedition has brought the company ever closer to the opening of a Clearhead New York city office. This exciting expansion of the company is a monumental part in propelling the company forward and making this our best year to date.</p>

<p style="text-align: left">The trip gave the company the opportunity to look at office spaces and weigh up where the best location for our business should be based.  Previous trips to New York have given Gavin and Alex an idea of what area they want to be based in New York but this trip has allowed us to finalise these important decisions. This was Nadia’s first time in New York and she was excited to see the new home of Clearhead’s next adventure:</p>
<p style="text-align: left">‘I had heard so much about New York and having been involved in all of the New York office plans, finally getting to see it for myself and see how our plan is coming together is really exciting.&#8217;</p>

<p style="text-align: left">Over the last three years Clearhead has built up many links with NYU and also with the School of Visual Arts, both of which we will be closely working with over in New York. Clearhead are going to offer intern schemes similar to the ones here in Luton, to help graduates gain skills and give them internships in creative media.</p>

<p>We also secured our first clients whilst we were out there which is a great start for us. Furthermore we have been in talks with many other companies who are interested in working with us making this the encouraging start we had hoped for!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Clearhead has always seen the importance of giving a chance to graduates and school leavers who want to get into the creative industry. Many companies are cutting back or completely overlooking studying or newly qualified students when it comes to paid employment, however, Clearhead see the importance of having a range of skills and utilising the skills and fresh ideas interns can bring the company. This gives the interns the opportunity to learn and grow with the company and also a chance to demonstrate their talent and abilities. Both our Senior Graphic Designer and Senior Editor started as interns with the company and their positions now show how far they have come.</p>

<p>Over time we have built up many international links across the world and we are delighted at the interest we gain from such a far spread geographic area. So we are very pleased to welcome our newest intern Flavia Cabrera who has just graduated from the University of Valencia where she undertook a degree in Media Studies. Flavia was successful in gaining a highly sort after post graduate scholarship which would help contribute towards gaining experience working in England. After liking our website and finding out more about what we do, Flavia decided that she would like to come and experience life at Clearhead as this is the area which she would like to work in in future.</p>
<p>Flavia is going to be joining the team for 7 months, in which time we hope she will learn a great deal from us. She has already settled into the team and we can see her becoming a great asset to the company! Flavia will get to experience the wide variety of projects we undertake and will spend time working along side different members of the team so that she can gain value experience in the creative industry.</p>
<p>Being Flavia’s first time in England we asked her what she thinks of England so far:</p>
<p>‘At first I was apprehensive as I did not know what to expect of England and as Luton is very different to my hometown and the fact that I did not know anybody was scary to think about. However, once I had moved into my house and then met the Clearhead team I felt much more at ease and since then things have been getting better and better. The only thing I am still finding hard to get used to is the constant cold weather!”</p>

<p>To promote Bedford College’s A Levels courses Clearhead were commissioned to produce three short film promo’s telling the individual stories of three A-Level students at the college. We had initially worked with Bedford College earlier in the year producing their college promotional film that went onto become an award winning film. It took the top award in the FE National Marketing Awards for Best Digital Marketing Campaign and we were thrilled that not only our film was award winning but also, that we were top of their list to work on their next lot of promotional films.</p>

<p>Bedford College wanted to display the great range of A-Levels and extra-curricular activities that student could participate in by joining the college.  By showing 3 different students it gives light to the wide variety of options and paths that each student can select for themselves. Our aim was to make the films appeal to the 15 to 16 year old age range that the college is targeting at to join. The films made went beyond the predictable panning of the college grounds and static interviews with students. Instead, it was decided that the concept would include motion graphics in the films to add interest and bring something extra to the eye and keep students watching.</p>

<p>Tim, who led the motion graphics side of things on the project, always like a challenge and to utilise his experience and skills to make our work stand out from the rest:</p>
<p>‘This was one of the larger projects that we have worked on and so allowed for an even bigger scope of imagination and gave us a real pursuit to add an element of fun and interactivity to the film’</p>
<p>Having already built up a great rapport with Bedford College and knowing that they were not afraid of deviate from the predictable allowed for great results, which both Bedford College and us are proud of.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We’ve reached a million fans on Facebook so we’re going to build them a giant chocolate ‘thumbs up’ to say thanks!</p>
<p>The official Cadbury Dairy Milk UK Facebook fan page reached a social media milestone last week, when it welcomed its one-millionth fan on Saturday, January 7.</p>
<p>To celebrate and say ‘thank you’ to the community, Cadbury Dairy Milk made a giant thumbs up piece by piece from the chocolate of thousands of Cadbury Dairy Milk bars.</p>
<p>On January 12th and 13th, the big build was broadcast via a two day live stream on the Cadbury Dairy Milk Facebook page. Fans could also have their own chunk added to the sculpture, and were invited to cheer the workers on as the thumb grows.</p>
<p>Clearhead shot, edited and exported three film in 36 hours documenting the event.</p>
